Hi! This comic is 21 pages long, but Tumblr only lets me upload up to 10. You can view the full comic at catversushuman.com!
Happy Halloween!

Oh, if it takes me forever to make a comic, sometimes I post news updates in my FB Page or Twitter. If you’d like to share photos of your cats, or talk about cat issues and whatnot, you can join our FB Group :) Thanks!

The concept is simple. Take a blank sheet with nothing but the basic outline of a pinup girl and illustrate a unique scene around her.”

something i adore just as much as films themselves are trailers.

as a child, i used to watch the “paperview”channel and just watch the trailers for hours.

i feel like it’s a really under appreciated art form that can really stand alone as a separate art piece from the film itself. especially when put to music. there are a lot of directors who were really aware of that, i.e. kubrick, pta, godard, cohen bros, etc. and they were able to not only show what the plot or feel of the film, but show the film as a powerful entity on it’s own.

it’s also, for me, a way to pay tribute to some of my favorite songs.

i’ve always wanted to make one for one of my films, and here we are. my first one ever. and holy shit i’m giddy.

here it is, a trailer for “THE ACQUAINTANCE” with the song “U” by one of my favorite bands, Kleenex.

to be released in august. right now i’m trying to work out a gallery to screen it in, any suggestions, e mail me: owellis@gmail.com

and please, share it. i put a lot of work into this film and i want people to be excited for it.
